Background:
I was born on February 5, 1993 in Montreal, Quebec. I live at home with my parents, and will soon have a dog (that my parents don’t know about yet). I also have an older sister who is a fourth year Dentistry student at McGill. Because I still live at home, I feel like I am not having the typical college experience, so I try to get involved with different activities on campus. I’ve been volunteering at the Eating Disorder Program at McGill for the past year and have joined an intramural soccer team. During my spare time, I enjoy relaxing with friends and family and using my computer to catch up on missed TV shows. Upon the completion of my degree at McGill, I plan on attending graduate school out of town in order to attain a Masters of Social Work. I know that I want a career in social work but I constantly change my mind in what my focus will be. My current plan is to work in a school because I love working with children, but if you ask me in a month, my plan may probably change. Thankfully, I still have a couple of years to decide.
Other Interesting Facts:
Although I do love my home, I also love to travel and learn about different cultures. I have been fortunate enough to travel to various countries in Europe, Central America, and Asia. I hope to visit Australia in the upcoming years as I have heard amazing things about it, I also think that it has a perfect mix of adventure and culture. I'd love to visit the Great Barrier Reef. Another interesting fact about me is that I am a huge gymnastics fan, especially USA Gymnastics (sorry Canada). Not only do I love watching Gymnastics every four years during the Summer Olympics, but I keep up with the athletes throughout the years as well.
