- Awarded the Longines Prize for Elegance, an award given to the gymnast who has displayed the most charisma, charm, and elegance
- 2013 World Championships: 2nd place-All Around, Balance Beam, Uneven Bars
- 2013 U.S. Championships: 1st place- Uneven Bars, Balance Beam; 2nd place-All Around
- 2013 City of Jesolo Trophy: 1st place-Team, Uneven Bars; 2nd place-All Around, Balance Beam
- 2012 Olympic Games: 1st place-Team
- Kellogg's Tour of Gymnastics Champions
- Met with President Obama at the White House with her team
- Performed on Dancing with the Stars with her teammates as special guests

- Kyla has been best friends with teammate McKayla Maroney since they were young kids. The two girls trained at the same gym.
